Meet Brooke
Brooke has six years of industry-based experience within the community mental health, domestic violence, youth justice and complex trauma field. In 2023, she completed her Graduate Certificate in Developmental Trauma and is currently working towards her Accredited Mental Health Social Work (AMHSW) registration.
Brooke would describe her therapeutic approach as deeply relational. She practices from the belief that all human beings have the inherent ability, and innate strength, to navigate life’s struggles, pain and challenges. Curiosity is at core of her approach, with Brooke often “Asking, being with and reflecting, rather than telling”. She is warm, genuine and down-to-earth.
Brooke draws on an eclectic blend of therapies to create a holding environment in sessions, a space in which you feel safe, seen and connected. After working with Brooke, her hope is that you will have a better understanding of your experiences, how those experiences shape your sense of meaning and tell an enriching story about your world view.
Outside of her social work self, Brooke has an appreciation for adventure. She feels happiest when in nature, 4x4ing and camping off grid.
