Back on Track
EASA is an approved provider of the Back on Track program
If you lose your licence because of drink or drug driving, you must complete the Back on Track course before you can reapply for a Northern Territory (NT) driver licence. Depending on your offence, you will be required to complete either Unit 1 or Unit 2. If you are unsure what unit you are required to complete, please contact the Motor Vehicle Registry (MVR) by visiting the MVR website or calling 1300 654 628.

Learning outcomes
- Understanding the physical, social and emotional impacts of Alcohol and Other Drugs
- Blood alcohol concentration (BAC) and standard drinks
- Understanding the legal issues that relate to the misuse of alcohol and other drugs
- Develop effective personal strategies to avoid Drink/Drug Driving in high risk situations
- Assist participants consider the consequences of their behaviour in their own life and of others
- Understand and develop self-awareness around dependancy behaviours
- Provide information about other complementary alcohol and other drugs support services
Participation agreement
You must read the following conditions of participation.
- You agree to come to all program sessions on time and to the end of the session.
- You agree to be drug and alcohol free with a Blood Alcohol Level (BAC) of 0.00 when attending the course and agree to be breath tested upon arrival.
- You agree to forfeit all rights to a refund of course fees if you register a BAC above 0.00 or fail to meet all requirements set out in the participation agreement and declaration.
- You acknowledge that failure to provide 48 hours notice for cancellations will result in forfeiting any payment made.
- You will bring valid photo ID to the program (If you are attending Units 1 & 2, you need to provide ID on both days).
- You will be polite and show respect to all other group members and the facilitator/s.
- You agree that you will take part in group discussions and complete all the program activities and tasks, including any homework requirements.
- You acknowledge that you may be excluded from the program if you do not abide by the conditions above and that you will not receive a Certificate of Completion for the course.
Declaration
I consent to the Back On Track Drink Driver Education Program using and disclosing information from my program records for the purpose of effectively delivering the program; this may include providing personal and contact details to third party providers authorised by Drive Safe NT to deliver services under the program.

Privacy
The Back On Track Drink Driver Education Program is authorised by Drive Safe NT to collect the information on the below form or otherwise provided by you as part of the enrolment. Any information you provide is on a voluntary basis but is needed to process your application. Some of the personal information provided by you on this application may be provided to other NT Government agencies, such as the Department of Attorney General and Justice or the Department of Health. This information is used for statistical, administrative and other purposes.

Identification
You must bring valid photo ID with your date of birth visible to the course every day that you attend. Failure to bring photo ID will result in you being unable to complete the course.
This could be an Evidence of Age card, Passport, Ochre Card, or other licence (birth certificates not accepted).
If you do not have photo ID you must visit the Motor Vehicle Registration (MVR) office to obtain an Evidence of Age card before course commencement.
