Mediations & Facilitated Discussions
Our Corp Division is well-known for our conflict resolution services. These services come in the form of Mediations and Facilitated Discussions.
So, what exactly do these two services entail? For the most part, they are quite similar. However, it is important to understand why these two services are different so that you know which service type is best suited to your needs:
Mediations
This is held by an outside mediator to the requesting corporation and includes:
- Candidate Intakes - each candidate will meet with the mediator separately to conduct an intake, gather information and assess appropriateness of the matter for mediation
- Mediation - will take place jointly between the mediator and all candidates
- Outcome - IF all candidates agree, a summary/agreement of the mediation may be released to HR, otherwise all proceedings will be kept confidential
- Held in the EASA Training Room
Facilitated Discussions
This is held by an outside facilitator to the requesting corporation and includes:
- Initial HR Brief / Release of Information - CORP will contact HR to initiate an intake and collect relevant information to be discussed
- Candidate Intakes - each candidate will meet with the facilitator separately to conduct an intake, gather information
- Facilitated Discussion - will take place jointly between the facilitator and all candidates
- Outcome - with signed consent from all parties, HR will receive a full report of outcomes/findings of the discussion
- Held in the EASA Training Room
