The new Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000 amends the Privacy Act 1988 (effective 21 December 2001) to regulate the way organisations handle personal information, including very sensitive information. EASA Inc. will comply with the 10 National Privacy Principles and will regulate EASA Inc. Privacy Policies and Procedures. This is a brief declaration on the practices followed in protecting privacy.
The information we collect
EASA Inc. collects personal information online only when customers/clients contact us by email. The main server in Administration receives the emails. The information that will be collected will be your name, telephone number and fax number (if provided), and the email address. Training and Public Workshop online enrolment forms will collect information that is personal and work-related. This will be name, address, telephone number, fax number, supervisors/managers name, job/position classification, training requirement and workshop details.
The risk of using the Internet
There are security risks in transmitting information using the Internet. Before you use online services to send information you should assess these potential risks. If you do not wish to transmit information via our website, use other ways such as the mail, telephone or an on-site visit.
Collection of browsing information
When you browse our website, our service provider logs the following information for statistical purposes: Your server address, domain name, date and time of your website visit, the pages you looked at, down loaded documents, previous site you visited, and type of browser you used. We only record your email address if you send us a message and will add it to our mailing list only if you ask us to do so.
EASA Inc. does not want to identify users or their browsing activities unless required by a law enforcement request. The website is 'cookie' free. We will not use information obtained from your browsing activities to send you any unsolicited information.
Why does EASA Inc. need my personal information?
The personal information that EASA Inc. collects about you is used to establish a link between the service provider and the client. EASA Inc. will be able provide a service only if information is collected and used. If you choose not to provide your personal information then we may not be able to help you and you would be deprived of benefits and options.
